Short description
In four districts in Uganda, SNV- Uganda has started multi-stakeholder learning platforms working through existing institutions (the District Water Sanitation Coordination Committees). Objective of these platforms was is to improve the hygiene and sanitation status within the districts through learning on best policies and practices. The platforms have resulted in improved coordination, collaboration between stakeholders in the sector and better interventions on water, sanitation and hygiene, based on local best practices.
